6.Dongjiadu fabric market (South Bund Fabric Market)
The old Dongjiadu fabric market has moved half a mile/kilometer down the road to new premises, where local vendors gather to sell a wide range of silks and other fabric. If you have several days in Shanghai, this is the perfect place to have any Western clothes ordered (or copied) or Chinese clothes made by professional tailors. Add: Dong Jia Du, Huang Jia Ma Tou, 1295 Lujiabang Lu
7.Dongtai road antique road
Dongtai Lu is the only remaining flea market in the Shanghai area that is still devoted to selling antiques, however genuine they may or may not be. Dongtai Lu Antique Market has character; here, amidst the trinkets and possible ersatz antiques, you will run across old-timers loudly playing cards, or slapping Mahjong tiles on tabletops to the accompaniment of shouts (Mahjong is a game of tiles for four players, though apparently based on a card game, where one typically plays so-called suits, as one does with mahjong, which has prompted some to suggest that the game is in fact based on a certain card game called Ma Diao). Take a tour to visit Dongtai Road.
8.Old town market
Shanghai's Old City is located to the west of the Bund and Huangpu River and south of Nanjing Road. Shanghai's Old City (also sometimes called Old Town) lies within the bounds of Zhonghua and Renmin Lu, two streets that form a continuous ring tracing the long-gone old city walls, which dated back to the 11th century. Today, the area is a charming, if chaotic, mixture of the new and old, authentic and fake, classic and tacky—in sum, it's consummate Shanghai. Narrow streets and alleys, traditional Chinese stores, restaurants selling delicious dumplings, this is the original pre war Shanghai. It is also called Chinatown or Nanshi. During the pre World War II times of the International Settlements, and the French Concession when Shanghai was inhabited and dominated by many foreign businesses and companies this is where most Chinese lived who were not employed as live in help by wealthy foreigners. Chinese law was observed in this area of Shanghai.

Nanjing Road is the main shopping street of Shanghai, China, and is one of the world's busiest shopping streets.[1] Today's Nanjing Road comprises two sections, Nanjing Road East and Nanjing Road West. In some contexts, "Nanjing Road" refers only to what was pre-1945 Nanjing Road, today's Nanjing Road East, which is largely pedestrianized. Prior to 1949, the road's English name was rendered "Nanking Road" using the standard romanization of the time..
10.Xin tian di
Located in the center of Shanghai City south of Huaihai Zhong Lu, Shanghai Xin Tian Di has become an urban tourist attraction that holds the historical and cultural legacies of the city. Shanghai Xin Tian Di is a fashionable pedestrian street composed of Shikumen and modern architecture style.
Shanghai Xin Tian Di is unique because of its concept of construction. It retains the antique walls, tiles and exterior of the Shikumen housing of old Shanghai. On the other hand, its interior embodies a totally different world of international gallery, bars and cafes, boutiques or theme restaurants. When you walk into Xin Tian Di, you will get the taste both of Shanghai in the 1920's and the sonic modern lifestyle of urbanites of the 21st century.
